Skycloud Mental Health Provides an Insurance Covered Insomnia Treatment in a Group Therapy Setting

At Skycloud Mental Health, we’re thrilled to be able to offer virtual cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. We are especially pleased to be able to offer a group therapy service for those in Oregon, Washington, Utah, or Nevada, for anyone over the age of 18. Our services are covered by many forms of insurance, and new group therapy sessions at convenient times open regularly.

About Insomnia and CBT-I Therapy
Insomnia is a complex, multifaceted condition. Yet one of the most common causes of insomnia is an issue with a person’s mental health. Our thoughts, our worries, and our habits keep us awake, and we have to learn to control these different issues in order to get a restful night’s sleep.
Skycloud Mental Health provides psychiatric services, including treatment for insomnia. We began offering group therapy sessions for insomnia because we believe it offers those benefits that can help people with their sleep issues. Group therapy itself offers benefits such as:
- Accountability – People are more likely to make changes when they’re with others.
- Community – It helps to know that others are having similar issues.
- Understanding – Through others, we can also learn more about ourselves.
Treatment for insomnia can also sometimes feel out of reach, especially when people are concerned about costs and insurance. By offering group therapy, we can lower costs and make it easier to receive sessions. We accept many forms of insurance for this treatment as well, so those with insurance may have some of their care covered.
CBT-I is one of the most highly regarded talk therapies for insomnia. It is perfect for patients that want to avoid sleep medications, or it can be used while also taking a medication to help eventually ease off of it and still get a restful night’s sleep. CBT-I is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy designed for insomnia. It is an evidence based treatment that has been studied on patients from diverse backgrounds.
